The Cottage
Cara is a lovingly converted detached bungalow designed to help you relax and unwind in a tranquil village setting. It is one of the most spacious and luxuriously equipped self catering holiday cottages in North Devon In establishing this cottage, we’ve tried to think of things that will make your holiday more relaxing, and that starts with making sure you don’t need to bring so much stuff with you. So we make sure that all the essentials are all there for you when you arrive. So we supply all the bed linen and towels and a hair dryer, and everything you’re likely to need in the kitchen including a pizza cutter and, arguably more important, a bottle of wine for when you arrive.
Bedrooms
The accommodation offers two bedrooms
The main bedroom has a Somnus king size bed, touch sensitive bedside lights and a luxurious lounge area with flatscreen TV/DVD, reclining chairs, coffee table and a built in wardrobe
The second bedroom has a Sallus king size bed, flat screen TV with DVD and a large built in wardrobe.
Bed linen, towels, beach towels, slippers, and hot tub robes are provided.

Living Areas
The Lounge/Diner provides a large light and airy space with reclining settee, remote control electric fire, Pioneer hi-fi, Yamaha keyboard, and a mahogany dining suite.
Leading from this room is the Conservatory which looks out onto the garden with its tumbling water feature and is perfect for relaxing whatever the weather.
The TV Room is the entertainment centre of Cara with a large leather corner sofa, log burner, snuggle blankets, a flat screen Smart TV and a Blu-ray DVD player with cinema sound.
A large built in bookcase houses a selection of DVDs, CDs, games, puzzles, novels and reference books.

The Kitchen/Breakfast room is fully equipped with a fridge freezer, a Dolce Gusto pod coffee machine (with a supply of pods), food processor and dishwasher. It also has a wide selection of equipment and utensils, and a food preparation area as well as a large kitchen table for breakfast and all aspiring Masterchefs.
Bathrooms
The Bathroom has a heated towel rail, bath and WC, while there is an additional WC next door.
The separate Shower room features a large shower cubicle with a Waterfall overhead shower with a separate hand held shower head and heated towel rail
Utility room
The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer, iron and ironing board and provides easy access to the hot tub and the garden from the bedroom area.
Hot Tub
Thehot tub is is totally secluded and includes a lounger with back massager, adjustable jets and an array of lights that enhance your enjoyment in the dark. A large overhanging umbrella can be raised if required (and if the wind is not too strong).
The Hot Tub uses a salt based system that continuously monitors and adjusts the chemical levels keeping them to a minimum while eliminating bromine and sulphur based chemicals which are often the cause of allergic reaction.

Outside
To the front of the bungalow, the private driveway has ample parking and turning space for several cars. At the rear, there is an enclosed, secluded garden and a pretty planted rockery with water feature, a patio area, lockable bike shed (where the BBQ hides), and a log store which holds an additional supply of logs.
Electricity, Gas fired central heating and Wi-Fi are all included. There’s a picnic set, and a cool box to bring the ice cream back from Waitrose, or to keep the curry hot on its way back from the Bay of Bengal. There are laminated OS maps of the area, local information and some personal recommendations of places to visit and eat.
On arrival, the fridge will be stocked with tomorrow’s breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs and milk, with coffee, tea and biscuits on the kitchen table.
